Describes a TV series.

Useful Links

TVSeries is a general Schema.org type, not Google's VideoObject result type. A nested trailer must meet Google's VideoObject requirements independently.

Required properties

  • name string
    The name of the TV series.

Recommended Properties

  • actor NodeRelations<Person | string>
    An array of actors in the series, resolved as Person nodes.
  • director NodeRelations<Person | string>
    An array of directors of the series, resolved as Person nodes.
  • creator NodeRelations<Person | Organization | string>
    The creator of the series. Plain objects and strings resolve as Person; wrap an organization with defineOrganization() to select the Organization resolver.
  • numberOfSeasons number
    The total number of seasons.
  • numberOfEpisodes number
    The total number of episodes.
